Position description	Ability to assess animals behaviorally Some medical knowledge - Knowledge of shelter operations and facilities - Knowledge of shelter staff names and functions Willingness to work with individuals and groups High level of availability is needed Time for specific training
Other attributes required	ability to drive a van or pick up truck access to the internet and email access to a vehicle active and clear drivers license at least 18 years of age lift 30 - 50 pounds not allergic to animals not allergic to cleaning products walk distances work with the public share ideas organization skills
Other position details	Transfer assistants are required to walk with the rounds team in the morning and afternoon as needed to help identify those animals appropriate for transfer to Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. They will also be required to assist in the preparation of transport and/or the transport itself. Selection as the transfer assistant will be made by the volunteer coordinator and other team members.
