  • Conduct daily animal health checks

  • Prepare animals for surgery
  • Observe surgeries
  • Conduct surgical follow ups

All vet suite volunteers must have met all of the basics training guidelines and be recommended by team leadership or their school vet tech program instructor.

Veterinary volunteers are bound by their scheduled days and times of service.This is a very selective opportunity. Students are generally given priority in scheduling.
